A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Corporal Aaron M. Faust. With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Corporal Aaron M. Faust, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul. WHEREAS, Corporal Aaron M. Faust, of Louisville, Kentucky, was born on May 26, 1989, and he traversed these earthly bounds on April 15, 2012; and WHEREAS, Corporal Aaron M. Faust was the beloved son of Ken and Tess Faust, the doting brother of Abby and Katie Faust, the caring grandson of Sandra and Thomas Johnston and Elizabeth Faust, and he leaves behind many other family members who loved him dearly; and WHEREAS, Corporal Aaron M. Faust was a 2007 graduate of DeSales High School and was an active member of the Okolona Veterans of Foreign Wars; and WHEREAS, Corporal Aaron M. Faust enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2007 and was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and WHEREAS, the life of Corporal Aaron M. Faust ended prematurely of injuries sustained from supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan; and WHEREAS, Corporal Aaron M. Faust gallantly served his country with honor and distinction; and

WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has the highest respect for Corporal Aaron M. Faust and is deeply grateful for the ultimate sacrifice he made for the freedom of all Americans; and WHEREAS, the passing of Corporal Aaron M. Faust has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives expresses its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Corporal Aaron M. Faust and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.

Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Corporal Aaron M. Faust.

Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Ken and Tess Faust, 2507 Bradley Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40217.
