Digital Production Coordinator 37 hours per week includes location shoots, weekend work and UK travel
Salary £17,638 - £22,773 per annum (dependent upon experience) + pension benefit + 34 days annual leave (includes Bank Holidays and Company Days)
British Gymnastics is the UK Governing Body for gymnastics. We exist to support, lead and inspire all those involved or interested in gymnastics; from the creation of new programmes and activities at grass roots level in the community, to the development of talent producing international gymnasts.
The successful candidate will be part of the in-house video production team and will play a key role creating an industry leading coaching resource for the organisation’s Education department. In addition, the successful candidate will have an important role in digital production at Major Gymnastics events in the UK. This will include the creation of live multi camera event coverage and audience presentation packages.
The Role The main responsibilities of the role are: Working with the Digital Production Manager to plan and deliver an industry leading coaching resource. Filming a high quality, high volume video archive of gymnastics skills and coaching practices Creation of infographics and instructional videos Working with the e-learning team on innovative solutions to deliver content to the end-user Working with the Digital Production Manager, planning video content for; events, organisation announcements, sport presentation, news stories and marketing campaigns etc. Attending events to produce live multi camera broadcast coverage and event VTs / audience interaction pieces. Working with the relevant project/work area manager, interpreting and scoping requirements, considering timeframes, budget/resources and corporate strategy/priorities Co-ordinating designated project budgets and associated administration; raising invoices, booking equipment, contracting with freelancers etc.
The Person The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate: Experience in filming with a wide range of cameras (DSLR and ENG) Experience and a good knowledge of: Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects and CC suite and creative editing including motion graphics. Good time management, organisational capabilities and creative expertise. Knowledge of live production techniques, including vision mixing, production skills, VT playout. Knowledge of BlackMagic products and VMix would be beneficial. Knowledge of video and TV systems and formats An understanding of gymnastics and competition structure would be advantageous. It is anticipated that the role holder will have a Degree (or equivalent) in Media Studies, TV Production Techniques or similar; experience of filming, editing and archiving; A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
