APPRENTICESHIP / PAID INTERNSHIP JOB SPECIFICATION Role Description This exciting opportunity within Suffolk Libraries will let you write for our website and use HTML, CSS and a web development framework.

You’ll use a fault management system to record, manage and help solve customer problems. You’ll also help support and manage modern library technology like eReaders and Chromebooks. Role:  To work with and under the direction of the Web Services Manager to manage the Suffolk Libraries website, intranet and extranet.  To add content to the website  To write web pages  To staff the fault management system  To undertake fault diagnosis  To work with a range of cutting edge technologies, for example, Chrome books and e-readers.

Person Specification Essential:

 GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C.  Open to using new technology.  Have an enquiring mind.  Flexible to using new equipment.

Desirable:

 Experience of writing a web based language, for example, wordpress, blogger, tumblr.  Experience of using an FTP programme.  Experience of using a text editor.
