SCHIMENTI TAPPED TO BUILD NEW BUYBUY BABY IN PARAMUS, NJ FASHION CENTER

Ridgefield, CT – Schimenti Construction has announced that it has been selected to build a new buybuy Baby in the Fashion Center located in Paramus, New Jersey. The 53,028 square-foot store will be on the third floor of the Center, positioned on US Route 17/East Ridgewood Avenue.

Designed by Greenberg Farrow Architecture, 21 South Evergreen Avenue, Suite 200, Arlington Heights, IL, the store will present a construction challenge for Schimenti. Anthony Saoulidis, Schimenti Project Manager, explained “The third floor of the Fashion Center has very limited accessibility for bringing in required construction materials. To solve this challenge we have developed a plan that will remove a portion of the existing façade which will then allow us to easily hoist all the equipment and materials we need up to the third floor.”

“ We expect construction to begin in early July and be completed within 18 weeks,” Saoulidis said.
