The meeting was brought to order by Chairman Lee C.
The minutes of the meeting on November 18, 2015 were read an accepted.
Treasurer's Report 11/18/15 - 12/16/15
Opening Balance: 1,617.82
Debts: 11/18/15 Cash 300.00 Christmas Alcathon 11/24/15. One Box-phone 49.95
Contributions:
Women's Step 100.00 Sunday 11am 300.00 Chappy Meeting 200.00
Balance: $1,782.87
The Treasurer's report was read and accepted.
Old Business:
Dee Dee B. reported that Rick H. was unavailable to cook at the upcoming Christmas Alcathon. Bill S. has volunteered to replace him and Dee Dee will assist. Colleen S. Reported she has speakers for three of the sched- uled meetings during the Alcathon. Call Chris C. (508) 627-2895 If
Minutes 12/16/15 cont you wish to help out. An anonymous contribution of $100 was received to defray expenses for the alcathon.
Old Business cont.:
Kathy K. reported that updated meeting lists are currently being printed. They should be available in a few days.
New Business:
Colleen S. reported that she was starting up a new AA meeting. The meet- ing is an open discussion and will be called "Young People in Recovery". It will begin on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Grace Church in Vineyard Haven. For more information contact Colleen S. at (508) 344- 6187. The new meeting will be added to the meeting list.
The secretary initiated a discussion concerning the placement of Group Representative email addresses on the website. He stated that he had vis- ited other larger websites and found no indications of such a practice. Do- ing so would violate Traditions 11&12 concerning anonymity. It was voted unanimously not to place Rep email addresses on the website, and to have our webmaster, Louis H., remove the section marked "Group Reps" from the website.
The secretary suggested beginning the planning for the 26th Annual Unity Breakfast to be held in the spring. It was voted to have the secretary begin the process and report progress at the next Intergroup meeting.
The next meeting of Martha's Vineyard Intergroup will be held on January 20, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Pat Gregory Conference Room at Vineyard House, Short Hill Road, Vineyard Haven, MA
