She has been involved in both national and international library associations serving as president, trustee, member. trainor and resource speaker of : National Historical Institute (NHI) and the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY), Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL) and Conference of Directors of National Libraries (CDNL). She is an ex-officio commissioner of the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Mrs. Erlinda F.
