Congregational Health Network Needs Attorneys to Help Train Community Liaisons

Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare University has asked the Memphis Bar Association to assist in their Congregational Health Network training sessions by providing an attorney instructor for a weekly two hour class to individuals identified through their churches as community liaisons. These weekly community education events would last for 7 weeks starting August 7. The community liaisons who attend the sessions take the training information back into their communities. Attorneys would come to these sessions to teach their liaisons about legal rights and responsibilities, providing solid and accurate community education material about a variety of legal issues in a secure setting that offers the chance to get this information out into the Memphis community using trusted advisors within the faith based community to ‘spread the word’. If you would be willing to be a part of this effort and devote an evening or two to do this, please contact Linda Seely at [email protected] or 901.255.3417.
