China Foundry Association Congress is the upgrade of National Congress of

Foundry Directors and it has been held for seven times since 1994. China

Foundry Association Congress will be held every two years as usual, and will be enriched both in technology and commercial information. It will be not only a high- level forum for foundry directors worldwide to exchange the experience of production and management, to look into the trend for foundry, but also an excellent platform for commercial cooperation.

The 8th China Foundry Association Congress has been prepared since June,

Scope of Papers ：

Analysis of the development trend of the foundry industry, forecast on market prospect, new theory, technique, material, craft and equipment of the foundry; introduction on the foundry development; technique and equipment for saving energy and protecting environment; advanced management and production experiences. Including ： iron and steel casting, related foundry technology about Al, Cu and Mg alloys; the recent development of investment casting foundry, full-mold (lost foam) casting and die-casting; management of foundry industry, environment treatment of the foundry factory, melting methods and materials, metal matrix composite materials, core molding methods and materials, refractory materials, mould manufacture, casting cleaning technique, casting simulation technology and so on. Requirements as follows: ◆ It should not be published in any Congress Proceedings or Journals, and needs an English abstract with150 words and a Chinese abstract with 200 words. The paper should be within 6,000 words (including words and chart) ◆Please provide the original photos or scan the photos ◆Please edit the abstract and paper with Microsoft Word and e-mail us by attachment or the pointed address ◆Please note the first editor’s name, position, professional title, company, mail address, post code, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address ◆The deadline of paper submission: April 30, 2008.
