Ms. Eisenberg will describe how employers can avoid though due diligence and payroll practices what is probably the leading exposure right now for employers in the U.S.—wage and hour violations under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state law. She will also shed light on which employees are “exempt” and who is not.

“ HealthySeat—Version 2” Bob Axelrad, Senior Policy Advisor, Indoor Environments Division, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mr. Axelrad will demonstrate EPA's Healthy School Environments Assessment Tool “HealthySEAT” a free, fully customizable software tool designed to help school districts manage voluntary self-assessment programs for all of their environmental health and safety issues. The software can also be used by non-educational public entities.
