Honors Ambassadors 2018 Membership Application

Requirements for membership: 1. Be a current member of the UF Honors Program, currently pursuing an undergraduate degree. 2. Attend weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and new member trainings immediately following at 7:15 p.m. 3. Earn a minimum of 6 Membership Points per semester 4. Be able to give tours on Mondays and/or Fridays between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. (it is okay if you are unable to due to class conflict in this Spring semester) 5. It is preferable that you can attend the New Member Retreat on Friday and Saturday, January 19th (5-9 p.m.) and 20th (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) although not required to be accepted.

Application Materials:  Resume of high school and/or college involvement - Maximum of one (1) page  Responses to the following questions in 200 words or less per question (unless otherwise stated): 1) In what ways have you interacted with the UF Honors Program? 2) What is one lesson that you have learned during your time at UF that you would want to share with prospective or first-year college students? 3) Describe yourself in one sentence.  Optional letter of recommendation from someone outside of the Honors Office

Submission Guidelines:  E-mail your completed application to [email protected] by Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.  Submit your resume and essay responses in a single Word document. Submit your photo as a separate attachment.
