Subject: Request for and circulation of emergency legislation to be placed on the July 11, 2017 additional legislative meeting agenda.
I am writing to request the following emergency legislation be placed on the agenda for an additional legislative meeting on July 11, 2017. Copies of the legislation are attached.
Contract No. CFOPD-16-C-035 Extension Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2017 Contract No. CFOPD-16-C-035 Extension Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Act of 2017
This emergency measure would approve and authorize payment of Contract CFOPD-16-C-035 with The Robert Bobb Group, LLC, to continue to provide change management services for the implementation of the new Modernized Integrated Tax System within the Office of Tax and Revenue in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. This contract modification is for $498,680 for a total amount of $1,490,601 for services provided during the first option period. Council approval is necessary because the proposed twelve month period amount is in excess of $1 million. This emergency measure is necessary to allow the continuation of these vital services without interruption.
