Wellington Heights Property Owners Association Swimming Pool and Clubhouse Rules 2017

General Requirements and Conduct  Only residents of Wellington Heights and The Springs at Wellington who are members in good standing and are current with their POA dues are allowed to use the Pool and Clubhouse. Violation of these rules will be reported to the Wellington Heights POA committee and may result in the loss of pool privileges.  SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is no lifeguard on duty  No diving allowed  Maximum occupancy of the pool area is 54 people  Proper swim attire is required at all times. Swimwear must be family appropriate. No gym shorts or cut -offs allowed. Children who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper.  Persons with open sores, wounds, bandages or communicable diseases are not allowed in the pool.  Conduct by any person deemed to be dangerous, unreasonable, or offensive (including “horseplay” or the use of profanity) should be reported to the Wellington Heights Pool Community immediately.  Running or speed walking within the pool area is prohibited. Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or motorized cycles are not allowed within the pool fences.  No glass containers of any type are allowed in the pool area.  While food is allowed in the pool area, food shall not be consumed in the pool itself. Trash should be taken with you.  Firearms and illegal substances are prohibited from the pool or clubhouse area. If any person is found with or suspected of using illegal substances, the police will be contacted immediately and without warning.  No chewing gum is allowed within the pool area  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, provided consideration of others is exercised  No pets allowed inside the pool gates or in the clubhouse  Air inflated equipment may be used provided the craft is a maximum of a two person carrier and only when there is no more than ten people in the water.  Music is allowed, but be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum  Access to the pool is allowed by electronic keypad only. Patrons should not jump the fences as a means of ingress or egress.

Adult Supervision  Residents ages 16 and older will be allowed to swim unaccompanied and may bring 1 guest. The guest must leave when the resident leaves the pool  CHILDREN UNDER 16 MUST BE AT ALL TIMES ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AGE 18 OR OLDER

Guest Policy  A guest must be accompanied by a resident to swim  Guests are limited to four per wellington Heights household, as space allows

Lock Policy  Each resident must enter the pool through the front door of the clubhouse. The gate to the pool will remain locked at all times  Upon leaving the pool it is the resident’s responsibility to check all outside doors and locks: including front, kitchen and restroom doors

First Aid Kit  First aid supplies are provided and stored in the designated cabinet in the clubhouse kitchen

Swimming Pool Hours  Open until 9:30 PM  Every attempt will be made to open the pool for the Memorial Day holiday each year and the season will end September 30th each year.  The pool is closed October 1st through Memorial weekend each year.  During the periods of thunderstorm activity, everyone must vacate the pool area  The pool will be closed periodically for mandatory chemical treatments. These times will be posted at the clubhouse

Pool Keypad Codes  Keypad codes will be issued to each Wellington Heights household after an Acknowledgement and Waiver form is signed and all dues are paid in full  Keypad codes are household specific and should not be shared outside the immediate household

Restrooms  The restrooms are cleaned and sanitized weekly during the months the pool is in use. Please help keep the restrooms clean by cleaning up after yourselves.

Telephones  There is a telephone provided for emergency 911 calls, however there is no service for outgoing calls.

PRIVATE POOL/CLUBHOUSE PARTIES  The pool and/or clubhouse are not to be rented out or made available for parties to anyone other than Wellington Heights POA members  POA members are limited to 2 private pool parties per household during the swimming season of May – September. Approved reservation is required.  Reservation times for pool parties will be from 8-10AM or 10AM to 12PM, 7 days a week and 7-9PM Tuesday and Thursday.  The clubhouse only will be available for private parties and gatherings from October – May. Four (4) parties per household will be allowed during the non-swimming season. Approved reservation is required.  Parties must be scheduled by a Wellington Heights POA homeowner and attended by a Wellington Heights POA homeowner (18yrs or older) at least two (2) weeks in advance. Reservations are processed on a first-come-first-serve basis and can be made on our web site Wellingtonheightsar.com, by clicking on the members tab and then pool reservations. You can also view the upcoming events by clicking on the left side of the page.  In the event of a children’s function, there must be a 1 to 5 adult – to – child ratio for children under the age of 12.  The sponsoring member will be responsible for all clean-up of the facility and for all damages caused by party patrons.  If you want pool updates please text your name to 479-685-6547. We will then send you an invite for an app called BAND. Please download this app from your app store and turn on notifications to receive these reminders on your phone. Swim Lessons  Swim lessons may be offered by certified swim instructors, but details must be approved through the Wellington Heights POA pool committee

Complaints  The Wellington Heights POA pool committee is available to take complaints and will address issues as needed. You may contact them by phone or text
