Zoomtext 8.0 Magnifier

ZoomText 8.0 Magnifier ZoomText is a screen magnification program. It allows you to zoom in on the entire Windows desktop, or to zoom in on certain parts of a window.

How to start ZoomText from the desktop To start ZoomText, click on the icon in the start menu labeled "ZoomText 8.0"; click on Start, then Programs, and then ZoomText 8.0, and then clicking on the ZoomText 8.0 icon.

Using ZoomText When you start ZoomText, its user interface appears on the screen. This window contains all controls for operating ZoomText.

Magnification Power Magnification levels range from 1x to 16x.

Zoom Window Type ZoomText zoom window types are : Full, Overlay, Lens and four Docked positions. You can switch zoom window types to accommodate a different task or application environment at any time. Zoom Window Adjust ZoomText's windows can be sized and/or moved. To size a window, drag any handle. To move a window, drag inside the window frame.

Zoom Window Freeze The Freeze window allows you to monitor information at one location while you simultaneously view and edit information in other locations.

Zoom Window View View mode shows you the area of the screen that is currently being magnified, and allows you to select a new area to zoom in on. When view mode is activated, magnification turns off and the view locator appears in the normal screen. Color Enhancements Color enhancements improve screen clarity for easier viewing and reduced eyestrain. The color enhancements options allow you to adjust screen colors, brightness, and contrast.

Pointer Enhancements Pointer enhancements make it easy to locate and follow the mouse pointer. You can choose from a variety of preset pointer enhancement schemes.

Cursor Enhancements Cursor enhancements make it easier to locate and follow the text cursor. You can choose from a variety of preset cursor enhancement schemes.
