One day is 7 hours. For ease of scheduling substitutes, RSG release time should be submitted in no less than one-half day increments (3.5 hours). RSG release time should be used during the first semester, and cannot be carried over unless a sub cannot be arranged for the day on which you wish to take release time. In that case, only one RSG release day may be carried over into the next school year. Please see your building principal in these situations. There MUST be space available on the district’s sub calendar before a release time can be approved. Please work with your secretary to determine availability. The secretary will need to reserve the RSG release time on the sub calendar.
