Un menu français AIM : To design a menu in French using Microsoft Word.

OBJECTIVES: To consolidate work already covered in Unite 9 – Food and Drink.

1. Choose a suitable name in French for your restaurant e.g. “La Cuisine”, La Bellevue (Beautiful View), Café de Paris, Chez Pierre (Peter’s Place)

2. Decide on the food items you wish to include and arrange them under different headings.

Useful vocabulary:

3. Put appropriate prices (in euros) with each item on the menu.

4. Make sure all spellings and accents are correct.

5. Add clipart/ photographs/ background to illustrate your menu.

6. Add a border.

7. Please ensure that you fit all information onto one page – you may need to reduce the font and/or picture size.

8. Type your name on the menu.

9. Print a copy to put into your exercise book.
