Good morning Memorial Student and Staff. Today is Friday, November 13th. Please stand for the pledge. The Book Club meeting for next Monday has been cancelled. The Club will meet again on Monday November 23rd.

Any 8th grade student who has recommendation forms to be completed for different schools MUST submit all forms to Mrs. Cicero first.

The Fall Scholastic Book Fair will take place Nov. 16th - Nov. 20th. You will be attending the book fair with your Social Studies class. Everyone has a chance to win a $10.00 book fair gift certificate every day between now and the Book Fair! Each morning a trivia question will be asked. Write your name and the answer on a slip of paper and drop it in the container in the library before the end of the day. A winner will be drawn each afternoon! Yesterday's question was...What movie that was based on a book came out last summer and is about a girl who disappears and a boy who sets out to find her? The answer is...Paper Towns. The winner is...India Simmons. Today’s question is… What highly anticipated movie will open in theaters December 18th?

Let it Snow..Let it Snow! Interested in learning to ski, or just joining friends on the slopes at Brandywine? Then, join the ski club! The information is in the Student Center.

Twelve days left for eligibility for the MJH 2nd Quarter PBIS Staff vs Student Basketball Game to be held on Friday, December 11th. The criteria for participation are: No Out of School Suspensions, and no “F”’s by December 4th; First referral for any infraction; 2nd referral for any infraction results in no attendance at the event.

Any 7th or 8th grade boy interested in playing on the staff vs. student basketball game should sign up in the cafeteria by today! Only 12 students will be selected for the team and coached by Coach Mason. Go students!! “HARVEST FOR HUNGER is HERE" With Thanksgiving right around the corner it is time to think about being thankful and about others. SO We are participating in Harvest for Hunger food drive AND a grade vs. grade competition. Your Student Council is organizing a Competition between the 8th grade and the 7th grade to see who can bring in more items to feed people in need. YOU HAVE FROM TODAY until TUESDAY, November 24th- right before Thanksgiving break. See your homeroom teacher and Student Council Representatives for more details!

Attention All MJH GIRLS: Eligibility for GIRLS basketball will be dependent on your 2 nd quarter grades because girls basketball games begin in January. This is the time to complete all assignments and strive for 2.0 GPA and higher! Reminder to all athletes that the building principal, always has the right to deny any student athletic participation due to inappropriate behaviors. It is the expectation that all athletes abide by code of conduct at all times.

Boys and Girls- Keep working on your PTA fund raiser sales. There will be a Homeroom Competition, 7th grade vs 8th Grade! Sell 6 items and you will participate in the Video Game Truck, 40 items = Sky Zone Pass, and if you sell 70 items, 2 tickets to a Cav’s game!

The word of the day is: incumbent. Definition: a person who is currently in office. Sentence: Mayor Welo was the incumbent candidate in the recent South Euclid Mayoral election.

Students, as a reminder when we have guest teachers in the building you are expected to be respectful at all times. Any student receiving a referral from a guest teacher will be excluded from the next PBIS event, as well as receive further consequences.

Students are expected to walk on the right hand side of the hallway, keep your conversations with peers at quiet as possible, and only go to your lockers at the beginning of the day, at lunch, and at the end of the school day.
