Just a few notes Some notes about this course:

Grading Policy: Tests 75% Homework 25% Only 5 absences are allowed. Anyone who misses 6 classes will fail. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the instructor at the end of the class period of their tardiness or they will be marked absent. Students who leave class early will also be marked absent.

 All Assignments are due prior to the exam for that Module  Failure to submit a homework assignment prior to the exam will result in a grade of 0. No homework assignments may be submitted AFTER THE STUDENT HAS TAKEN THE EXAM FOR THAT MODULE .

It is strongly recommended that you submit all homework assignments on the appropriate due date Each student is allowed to drop their lowest exam grade.

NO MAKEUP EXAMS are given. If a student misses an exam, that will be the exam that is dropped.

 Any student who has perfect attendance will receive 5 extra points on one test.  Any student who has not been late for any class will receive 5 extra points on one test. A STUDENT IS ALLOWED ONLY 3 LATE ARRIVALS FOR CLASS. 5 POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM EACH EXAM GRADE EVERY TIME YOU ARE LATE AFTER YOU HAVE UTILIZED YOUR 3 LATES. I have the right to raise or lower your grade despite your numerical average.

Ask Questions? It is important to remember to DO YOUR OWN WORK. Working “as a team” to complete an assignment, then handing in two identical copies of the same assignment is considered cheating, and is grounds for dismissal from the course and the school. NO Texting Allowed in Class – Points will be deducted from your average
