Job Title: Adoptions Co-Ordinator Business: Taylor Wimpey East Scotland Location: Dunfermline Reports to: Land & Planning Director Main Interfaces Legal Team Staff within all Technical, Production and Senior Functions Commercial Managers Solicitors

Overall Purpose Manage the effective handover of open spaces and play areas to factors and land management companies. Input into the land management process in terms of deeds of conditions and factoring appointments. Deal with any customer or business queries on open space or play areas. To assist in progress road and sewer adoptions with the Adoptions Engineer. To carry out any other duties as required by the Land & Planning or Technical Director

Key Activities 1. Conveyance of land to land management companies  Liaise with legal team over conveyance of land to land management companies or residents  Identify and record areas for partial handover on current sites.  Check land extent to be conveyed and deal with encroachments, remedial works etc.  Answer customer queries regarding land or open space issues

2. Tendering of factoring services  Prepare tender documents for issue to factoring companies  Review tenders and determine best value for company  Appoint factors and advise relevant staff of appointment  Agree deeds of conditions for new sites  Liaise with legal team as required

3. Roads and Sewers Adoptions  Liaise with and assist Adoptions Engineer in progressing roads and sewers adoptions  Reserve an agreed amount of time to deal with roads and sewers issues

4. Public consultation  Organising and attending public events to publicise our developments.  Liaise with councils, clients and the public over our proposals  Prepare updates and letters to keep the public informed

Key Experience  Previous experience in house building and land acquisition/management would be a benefit  Knowledge of legal process and land conveyance  Technical knowledge around engineering issues  Commitment to being an integral part of a focussed team
