 Printing Requests Updates REMINDER- 40 black & white and 20 colored per week!

 Tunnel Paintings Update

o Show Tunnel Paintings link on SG website and OrgSync.

o On the application you can either say you want to remake your orgs painting or you want to make a new one for an org that has not had one yet.

o For tracing, we can bring a projector in order for you to trace your image of choice. Give Tyler your image so he can prepare it.

o Paint and supplies are to be brought by each org. No supplies will be provided. Make sure to bring a bucket of water because Wright State does NOT allow cleaning of paint supplies in campus sinks.

o Painting held March 14th from 10 to 3pm.

o Deadline for applications is March 7th.

o February 16th thru the 27th every day two times a day. Times will be posted on Org Sync. Sessions are half an hour.

o Due Applications are due by Friday, February 27, 2015 by 11:59pm if you were nominated.

Student Government Report

 Ban on E-Cigs has been passed so no E-cigs are allowed INSIDE any building.

 Don’t forget to go to the Elections tab and vote between February 23rd thru 26th. Old Business

New Business

 House of Representative Applications for Speaker and Assistant Speaker

o Even if you yourself are not interested in the position, please let anybody who you think would do well in a leadership role know about the job. These are PAID positions, they help you meet and get to know hundreds of student on campus, and they help you network extremely well with Wright State administrators.

o Applications are due on Friday, February 20 at 5:00pm.

o Applications are available on the SG website under elections tab or in the Student Government office.

 NEW Leadership

o NEW Leadership Ohio is a five-day residential program sponsored by the John Glenn School of Public Affairs and the Department of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It encourages college women to take on political and public leadership roles. o The purpose of this program is to educate Ohio college women about politics and policy- making to actively engage them in the political process. Participants will learn the history of women’s involvement in public life, gain leadership skills in public speaking, advocacy and diversity and form a network of their peers as well as current women leaders.

o May 18-22, 2015 on Ohio State’s campus in Columbus, Ohio. o Women enrolled in any Ohio 2-year or 4-year college or university or Ohio residents attending school outside of the state. Preference is given to undergraduates. Women that represent different racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Social Activities  Next week Social Meeting is for Greek, Recreation and Special Interest Orgs and is in the Starbucks lounge in the library at 5:30.

 In Solidarity, We Resist

o Charmaine Griffith, a student on campus, is working with the Women’s Center, Counseling and Wellness, and Student Legal Services to create an art/activist project designed to help survivors of sexual violence reclaim space to tell their stories. They are looking for individuals affected by sexual violence who would like to share their stories confidentially. They are also looking for volunteers for a main event in April where they will read the anonymous stories. Her email is [email protected], and you can contact me if you have any questions.

 Raider Round-Up

o Next Thursday from 4:30-7:00pm, in McLin Gym at the Nutter Center. Come enjoy games, food, and a chance to show off your school spirit. There’s also a chance to win $10,000!

o The HOR meeting is in the Starbucks Lounge for next week, as the Alumni Center could not be booked for it. We will still be having the meeting but we will get you all the information we have quickly so that everyone can attend the event in Nutter Center if they planned on going.

 ODK’s Leader to Leader Conference

o Annual leadership conference that is open and free to all Wright State students, faculty, and staff. The conference is designed to help students enhance their leadership skills and maximize their success as student leaders through its beneficial breakout sessions.
