DGF Volleyball Tournament

DGF Volleyball Tournament Saturday, September 30th, 2017

We are pleased that you will be participating in the 25th Annual DGF Invitational Volleyball Tournament. Enclosed is the schedule for tournament play, line judging, and information you will need. All matches will be played at the High School in Glyndon.

 Pool play format: 4 team pools will play 2 games to 25 points, cap at 27. The pools will start at 8:00 am.  Tournament format: 1st place teams in each pool will be placed in gold tournament. 2nd place teams in each pool will be placed in the silver tournament. 3rd place teams will be placed in the bronze tournament. 4th place teams will be in the pewter tournament. Lose and you are done. o T-shirts will be awarded for the 1st place team in gold tournament  Cost: $75.00 payable to DGF Schools o Mail to Joe O’Keefe, Athletic Director, 513 Parke Ave, Glyndon, MN 56547  Site: DGF High School Glyndon  Gym: Will open at 7:30 a.m.  Concessions: Will be available throughout the tournament.  Locker rooms: Will be available for all participants. We advise leaving NO valuables in the locker rooms since they are open throughout the tournament.  Line Judging: The playing teams are responsible for providing a line judge for each match; it can be a player, coach, parent, or fan.  Warm-ups: There will be 10 minute warm-ups prior to your first match. After that no warm-ups!  Volleyballs: Will be provided for warm-ups. No warming up in the hallways, locker rooms, or commons area.

Time Teams Playing 8:00 am A vs. B 8:45 am C vs. D 9:30 am A vs. C 10:15 am B vs. D 11:00 am A vs. D 11:45 am B vs. C  2 games to 25 points with cap at 27  Each team must provide one line judge.

TOURNAMENT: * 1st place teams will play in the gold bracket tournament * 2nd place teams will play in the silver bracket tournament * 3rd place teams will play in the bronze bracket tournament * 4th place teams will play in the pewter bracket tournament * Single elimination tournament; Best 2/3
