Her inexhaustible spirit has led to a long career in this 26 field; and 27 28 Whereas, prior to serving as the principal of Seven Oaks 29 Elementary School, Harriet was the principal at Chapin 30 Elementary School and Leaphart Elementary School for a total of 31 seventeen years; and 32 33 Whereas, her sunny demeanor will be greatly missed as she takes 34 time for herself in retirement. Her presence has brightened the 35 future of many boys and girls; and 36 37 Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of 38 Representatives are grateful for the years of unparalleled 39 dedication that Harriet has devoted to the children of Lexington 40 County and wish her many years of enjoyment in her wellearned 41 retirement. [4332] 2 1 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 2 3 That the members of the House of Representatives of South 4 Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Harriet Wilson 5 upon the occasion of her retirement on June 30, 2017, after a 6 distinguished tenure of exemplary service and wish her continued 7 success and happiness in all her future endeavors. 8 9 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to 10 Harriet Wilson. 11 XX 12
