7 Election of Officers

Where no nominations have been received by the due deadline any vacant position(s) will be appointed by the committee at the next committee meeting from names submitted to the Secretary. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor and members must be present to vote. Outgoing Captains will stay in office until the new Captains are elected /appointed by the committee post AGM.

9 Proposals

Proposed alterations to the 2016 Constitution

6.1 OFFICERS The Officers of the Club shall be the President, Chairman, Vice Chairmen (Section Captains), Secretary and Treasurer. These members will sit on the Management Committee. The position of Vice Chairman shall be a dual role, held by the Men’s and Ladies’ Section Captains. This group will confer on an "as and when" basis if interim management decisions are required

General change: Change all wording referring to ‘Executive Committee’ to read ‘Management Committee’

7.2 The Management Committee shall be responsible for the day to day management of the Club and shall exercise full power including that of filling any vacancies in its composition, other than that of the office of President

There will be no other business discussed - if any member has an important matter for discussion, can they please send it in writing to the Secretary ([email protected]) by June 1st for inclusion on the Agenda for the first committee meeting in June.
