Class C-Handicraft

Entries due Monday of fair week 9 am – 5 pm, with judging to begin at entry closing. A total of $700.00 will be allotted this division to be awarded as the show warrants, maximum purple ribbon award $2.00, maximum blue ribbon award $1.50. All articles must be finished and clean. Winners must pick up premium money from the Fair Office (West Window Only) Thursday, Friday 11am – 6pm Saturday 1pm – 6pm Sunday 11am – 1pm at the open class building

Exhibits will be released 10am – 12pm Sunday

$25.00 given to an outstanding exhibitor in each class. Award given based on effort and quality to promote our open class.

Best in county at the Nebraska State Fair needlework contest: Rules 1) Details of the “Best in county” contest must be published in the county fair premium list. 2)Article must be judged “Best in Needlework” at Box Butte County Fair. 3) Only one needlework article may be entered in this contest from each county. Exhibitor must reside within the county submitting the entry. 4) Superintendent of County Needlework or county fair official must sign “Best in county” entry form. This form must accompany the exhibit to the State Fair. DO NOT MAIL FORMS SEPARATELY. 5) Exhibits will be governed by the general rules listed in the Nebraska State Fair needlework Entry book. 6) “Best in county” entry forms and exhibits will be accepted until 9:00 am Saturday, August 23, 2008. Rule 6 will be strictly enforced. “Best in county” cash awards – first place $75.00, second place $55.00, third place $45.00, fourth place $40.00, and fifth place $35.00.
