A Gang of Notorious Autolifters Busted, 07 Stolen Vehicles Recovered and Total 09 Cases

A GANG OF NOTORIOUS AUTOLIFTERS BUSTED, 07 STOLEN VEHICLES RECOVERED AND TOTAL 09 CASES OF MV THEFT WORKED OUT With the arrest of two auto lifters namely Nikhil Chaudhary, 25 years s/o Vinod Chaudhary r/o C-2A/160, Janakpuri, Delhi and Shaqil, 32 years s/o Zamir r/o Village- Gahimpur Behguon, PS Agota, Distt. Bulandshahar (UP), the officials of North district have solved 9 cases of auto theft and recovered seven stolen vehicles. INCIDENT AND TEAM On 20.05.2013, Sh. Ramesh Singh s/o Sh. Navrang Singh r/o Gali No. 12, Jagatpur, Extn. Near Rama Public School, Delhi reported that his Motor Cycle Bajaj Discover No. DL-3SCA-0679 Red-Black, Model 2011, was stolen from his house. A case vide FIR No. 127/13, u/s 379 IPC was registered in PS Timarpur and investigation taken up. A team comprising of HC Narain Dass No.482/N, HC Parveen Kumar No.2857/N , Ct Pramod Kumar No. 1171/N and Ct. Gaurav 610/N, was constituted under the leadership of Insp.Yashveer Singh, SHO/Timarpur to solve the case and to apprehend the culprits involved in the incident. On persistent and sincere efforts, accused Nikhil Chaudhary s/o Vinod Chaudhary and Shaqil s/o Zamir were apprehended. Nikhil Chaudhary is a notorious auto lifter and BC of P.S. Janakpuri and involved in 11 cases previously. Accused, Shaqil was arrested previously in a case of truck robbery, registered at PS Tillad, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP in 2010. INTERROGATION On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that they had been carrying out thefts of vehicles on a daily basis. Vehicles stolen by them were parked at identified places while search was made for a probable buyer. Police Officials of PS Timarpur have done a remarkable job in developing intelligence and have made sincere efforts in the arrest of the accused persons and in the recovery of 07 vehicles.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS 1. Nikhil Chaudhary, 25 years s/o Vinod Chaudhary r/o C-2A/160, Janakpuri, Delhi. He is a notorious auto lifter involved in around 11 cases previously. With his arrest, his involvement in 08 more cases has been revealed. He is a BC of P.S. Janakpuri. His father is working in Bank of Baroda in a Senior Post. He is unmarried and is the only son in the family. He obtained Bachelor in Hotel Management Degree from IHM, Pusa Road in 2009 and is presently doing LLB from Atmaram Sanatan Dharam College.

2. Shaqil, 32 years s/o Zamir r/o Village- Gahimpur Behguon, PS Agota, Distt. Bulandsahar (UP), is married and has 04 children. He works as a driver of a tractor at a brick furnace in Bulandshahar, UP. Education: 6th Class. RECOVERIES Total 03 Cars and 03 M/cycles and 01 TSR have been recovered, details of which are as under:

The accused persons have disclosed about the commission of two other incidents of MV Thefts- (I). Case FIR No. 132/13, dated 23/03/13, u/s 379 IPC, PS Hari Nagar. Vehicle Stolen: Maruti 800 Car Registration No. DL 4CK-1450. (II). Case FIR No. 242/13, dated 4/05/13, u/s 379 IPC, PS Shahbad Dairy Vehicle Stolen: TATA Indica Car Registration No. DL 3CAF-5390.

 Three desperate criminal carrying total reward of Rs.-1,50,000/-arrested:  Wanted in recent double murder in Lady Hardinge Medical College , a recent murder of a muscle man in Burari, murder of a BC of PS Uttam Nagar in 2010, an attempt to murder case of 2013 of PS Uttam Nagar and a case of m.v.theft.  Recovered two pistols , one country made pistols and one stolen m/cycle.

Three desperate criminals namely (1) Vijay @ Notty s/o Chianji Lal R/o Flat No.-33,Pocket-7 Durga Park Vill.-Naseer Pur, Dwarka Delhi (Aged 32 Yrs.) (2) Manoj @Kalua S/o Balkishan R/o 45/141 LHMC Staff Qtrs Mandir Marg Delhi(38Yrs) (3) Ashok @ Kala s/o Indraj Singh R/o E-18 Dharampura Najafgarh, Delhi. (Aged 42 Yrs) involved in several murder cases and other heinous cases and carrying a reward of 1,50,000/- were arrested by Special Cell, Southern Range, Delhi. Three murder cases including one double murder case of Lady Hardinge Medical College, two attempt to murder case have been worked out. A case of attempt to murder and one MV theft case have also been worked out. One 9mm Pistol with three live cartridges , one pistol 7.65 bore with four live cartridges, one country made pistol with two live cartridges and one stolen M/Cycle have been recovered.

INCIDENT

Two murder cases were reported recently and were covered prominently by the media. On 21-04-2013, Vijay @ Notty, Manoj @ Band and Harsimranjit @ Badal shot dead one Kailash @ Bittoo and his father Subhash in the premises of Lady Hardinge Medical College PS Mandir Marg and again on 28-04-2013 they shot dead one Samunder Pahalwan in the area of PS Burari. ACP Sh. S.K. Giri and Inspector Jitender Singh developed the information regarding the movement of members of the gang. A team was constituted under the leadership of Sh. S.K.Giri ACP/SR and consisted of Insp. Jitender Singh, Insp. Shiv Kumar and other team members. On 22/05/2013, after consistent and rigorous efforts by the team, the said criminals were noticed near Burari. The team reached the spot and laid a trap near Gopal Pur red light signal on Outer ring road. At about 5 pm, when three persons came on a M/Cycle from Ring road side and signaled to stop, they instead of stopping sped away towards East side service road and fired three rounds on the police team. Police party fired in self defence and managed to overpower them. The accused persons were identified as (1) Vijay @ Notty s/o Chianji Lal R/o Flat No.-33,Pocket-7 Durga Park Vill.-Naseer Pur,Dwarka Delhi (Aged 32 Yrs.) (2) Manoj @Kalua S/o Balkishan R/o 45/141 LHMC Staff Qtrs Mandir Marg Delhi (Aged 38Yrs) (3) Ashok @ Kala s/o Indraj Singh R/o E-18 Dharampura Najafgarh, Delhi. (Aged 42 Yrs).

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS

(1) Vijay @Notty s/o Chianji Lal:-He is 32 years old, un-educated, married, having two small children. His family was on adverse terms with their neighbor Sonu @ Bhola. Several cross cases were filed against each other. Since 2000, Vijay @ Notty started taking protection money from the illegal electricity users in the area of Kali Basti Uttam Nagar. He started cable business in the same area in the year 2007. During this period another muscle man namely Sonu @ Bhola started creating problems for him in the said business. Vijay @ Notty attempted to kill Bhola in 2000 & 2005 but Bhola survived both the attempts. He received bullet injuries in the failed attempts. Vijay @ Notty was arrested in both cases. Eventually Vijay @ Notty shot dead Bhola in the year 2010. Since then he had been absconding. Undeterred Vijay @ Notty started taking protection money from bookies. On 16-02-2013, accused Vijay @ Notty along with his associate Badal shot one bookie, namely, Moti lal Khan @ Japan in the area of PS Uttam Nagar over the issue of protection money. In the said incident, Moti Lal Khan @ Japan sustained two bullet injuries but managed to survive. In this case a reward of Rs. 50,000/- was announced on his arrest.

On 21-04-2013 accused Manoj s/o Balkishan and his associates, namely, Vijay @ Notty and Harsimranjit @ Badal shot dead his neighbour namely Bittoo and his father in servant Qtrs of Lady Harding Medical College on account of their rivalry of Satta business. A case of M.V. theft vide FIR NO. 124/2012 dated U/S 379/411 IPC PS Model Town, Delhi has also been solved.

Vijay @ notty is PO in three cases and is a BC of PS Sagarpur. He had been absconding for the past 3 years.

(2) Ashok @ Kala s/o Indraj Singh:- He is 42 Yrs old and 8th class pass. Initially he was a boot legger and later graduated to other types of crime. He is absent BC of PS Najaf Garh. He was helping Manoj @ Kalua in his Satta business. He is involved in cases of Excise Act, Arms Act, Robbery, Hurt etc.

(3) Manoj s/o Balkishan:- He is 7th class pass. He is married and has two children He is into Satta business.
