CTDGA State Fair Club Show Held in conjunction with the State Fair of Texas Pan American Dairy Open Goat Show STATE FAIR OF TEXAS 3921 Martin Luther King Dallas, Texas 75210 Friday October 13, 2017(Juniors) Saturday October 14, 2017 (Seniors) This will be a 1 ring Senior Doe Show and a 1 ring Junior Doe Show **************************************************************************************************************** Judge: Aaron Carter **************************************************************************************** ** NOTE ** All goats entered in CTDGA Club Show MUST be entered in the State Fair of Texas Pan American Open Dairy Goat Show. There will NOT be any premiums paid for placements in the CTDGA State Fair Club Show. ENTRIES/PAYMENTS should be made to CTDGA (NOT State Fair of Texas)

1. This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association, and ADGA rules shall govern. Both Senior and Junior Doe shows are separately sanctioned for: Alpine, Lamancha, Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Saanen, All Other Purebred and Recorded Grade. Nigerian’s will not be sanctioned by American Goat Society.

2. Base date for animals September 1, 2017, or as indicated on class list.

3. The original certificate of registration is required on all animals. Stamped duplicates will NOT be accepted.

4. There is no pre-show milk-out. Animals with over distended udders are subject to discrimination by the judge. Please be sure your animals are shown with a comfortable amount of milk in their udders.

5. Exhibitors should dress appropriately as outlined in the ADGA guidebook.

6. Health papers are required, as per the State Fair of Texas.

7. ORDER OF SHOW will be as follows: Alpine, LaMancha, Nigerian, Nubian, Saanen, AOP, Recorded Grade. Show order is not subject to change.

8. ENTRIES and ENTRY FEES – Must be mailed and payments made to CTDGA… NOT to the State Fair of Texas.

9. ENTRY DEADLINE is midnight September 1, 2017. There will be NO LATE entries.

10. $8 per animal for entries paid & postmarked by September 1, 2017, Substitutions will be allowed at no charge, provided they are made at time of check-in. (and provided the animals has been entered in the State Fair of Texas Pan American Open Show). There will be NO LATE ENTRIES.

12. Mail entries and payment to: CTDGA; 1304 Bridle Bit Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75022. Entries can be emailed to [email protected], and payment made using PayPal link on CTDGA website, www.ctdga.com.

13. CHECK IN – Will be done at the same time as the STATE FAIR of TEXAS check in (October 12 starting at 2 pm).

14. JUDGING of JUNIOR SHOW will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. on October 13. JUDGING of SENIOR SHOW will commence once the State Fair of Texas Show commences on October 14. Each breed of SENIORS will be judged as they are completed in the State Fair of Texas Pan American Open SENIOR show ring and will move into the CTDGA Club SENIOR Show ring

15. All animals shall be shown at the owner’s risk, CTDGA and State Fair of Texas will not be responsible for any damages incurred by exhibitors or visitors. No dogs are allowed in show arena or pen area. Parents will be responsible for the actions of their children. 16. The show committee reserves the right to decide upon and resolve any problems which may not be directly addressed in these show rules or those of ADGA. Their decision will be final. Making an entry shall indicate an exhibitor's acceptance to abide by all the rules herein stated.
