SeaRoc Group to Showcase New SeaPlanner Features at Offshore Wind Energy 2017

SeaRoc Group will be exhibiting at the upcoming Offshore Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition next month, giving visitors the opportunity to see first-hand, the new features of its marine management system, SeaPlanner™.

SeaPlanner™ has undergone major redevelopment over the last 18 months, providing a faster and more flexible system with the most advanced capabilities that help improve operational efficiency, reduce cost and improve health and safety. Key features include:

Portfolio Management – clients can now manage multiple sites from a single, centralised system that is accessible by all stakeholders at any location. The benefits of which are substantial as it means processes become standardised resulting in cost savings and improved efficiencies.

Reporting – analysis of data is crucial for maintaining an efficient and economic project. This is now made simple for clients as they have access to a range of reporting tools where data can be exported and manipulated at any time.

Data Protection & Security – SeaPlanner now complies with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) being released in May 2018 as well as a host of updates to further increase the level of security and data encryption for your project information.

Innovative Communications Systems – SeaRoc Group provide turnkey communications packages and has a unique communications system (SeaHub™) that deals with the specific challenges of operating projects far from shore. SeaRoc have deployed several SeaHub’s and our clients are already benefiting from the innovative solution to maintain consistent and reliable communications in especially logistical challenging environments.

These features, as well as many others, will be available to view and be discussed with the team at SeaRoc Group’s stand at Offshore Wind Energy 2017, stand N-M62.

Notes to editors

Formed in 2002, SeaRoc Group has over a decade of experience in offshore renewable energy. SeaRoc has an extensive worldwide project portfolio, adopting a full lifecycle approach to projects from design, through construction and into decommissioning, specialising in HSEQ support and GIS data management services.

In 2006 the company went on to develop, SeaPlanner, industry leading software that provides the tools for the safe and efficient management of projects offshore. Features include personnel tracking, access control, vessel tracking, weather management, induction management, HSE risk management, geographic information systems (GIS), maintenance planning as well as managing offshore certification and documentation.

Now an industry leading marine management and monitoring tool, SeaPlanner has expanded beyond renewables into markets such as offshore dredging and marine-civil construction across the UK, Europe and Australia.

Recognising the need for companies to streamline their induction processes and reduce costs, the SeaRoc Group launched an online induction software tool, induct.me in 2014 – developed from the Induction Manager module within SeaPlanner. The system enables all personnel to submit their personnel details, upload their certification, watch a site induction/H&S video and answer a site induction Q&A. This can all be achieved before a person steps onto site, reducing administration, and saving the project time and money.
