Saint Joseph’s Parish Rosary Altar Society Scholarship

Purpose: To recognize a Catholic teenager who is active in St. Joseph’s Parish and the local Community. TWO $500 scholarships will be awarded. Requirements: *Be an active parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church and participate in at least one Parish ministry (ex. Altar Server, Jr. Lector, Cantor, Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Social Concerns, Religious Education volunteer, etc.) *Be a fully initiated Catholic (Baptism, Communion and Confirmation) or actively working towards this through the RCIA. *Be a graduating senior, continuing your post high school education through a college/university, trade school, etc.

C. Your extra-curricular activities, community service and involvement and how much time you spend on each per week.

D. Any honors/awards you may have received during high school.

Please submit TWO letters of recommendation, one from an adult from your parish ministry-an advisor or another adult involved in the ministry (ex. Clergy or Religious, music minister, youth group adult, etc.) and one from an activity outside of the parish. (Ex. coach, club advisor, Scout leader, etc.) Letters can be attached to the application, mailed to the Youth Ministry Office, or emailed to [email protected] with your name in the subject line.
