Fill in the lines below. See the Using PedalSnake Guide before ordering. Most lines require 1 channel, some require more (indicated below). To save channels, you can order MIDI3 lines to be used with Dual G2 Pigtails for PLines and GLines. Get a better cost on a Custom PedalSnake with IJ cable (see the next page). Total Length Includes fanouts at the ends. feet (4–30 ft) Fanout Length The length of the exposed lines that “fanout” (breakout) from the end of the multi-channel snake cable. The longer the fanout, the further apart gear can be placed and have the line connectors reach. PEDAL END ” (6-48”) AMP END ” (6-48”) Select GLines “R”=right-angle, “S”=straight. 1st letter (blue) is for the Pedal End, 2nd letter (red) is Amp End. RS SS SR RR TRS (stereo, straight at both ends) FOR INSERTS: (1 TRS-to-2 mono—usually used for send/return). Order a MIDI3 line (below), and then purchase a INS1 (G2 Pigtail) online. Select PLines M=male, F=female. 1st letter (blue) is for Pedal End, 2nd letter (red) is for Amp End. NOTE: For future changes or expansion, order one or more extra MIDI3 lines, then order G2 Pigtails online to form additional GLines or PLines as needed. Custom PedalSnakeCS Costs

Cable Costs Custom PedalSnakeCS models are available made from 2 snake-cable types—Individually Jacketed (IJ) for up to 8 channels, and Non-Individually Jacketed (NIJ) for 9–16 channels. The number of channels used per line varies. See Channels and Line Costs below. Individually Jacketed (IJ)—Up to 8 Channels IJ snake cable has a thicker overall diameter (per channel) than NIJ. The IJ cable itself is more expensive (per channel), but the total cost of your Custom PedalSnake is usually less with IJ because no shrink tubing is added to exposed lines at the fanout (as with NIJ cable)—which means lower line costs. IJ cable has lower capacitance than NIJ, so guitar pickups “drive” it better. We still recommend at least one buffered pedal (non-true bypass) between an ax pickup and a GLine. But, when an all-true-bypass pedal chain connects to your ax pickup, IJ cable holds tone better than NIJ, and does not go microphonic. 4-channel and 8-channel IJ cables are available. If your desired Custom snake exceeds 8 channels, you must use the NIJ cable. IJ Cable Cost/Foot Diameter 4-ch 2.04 0.375” 8-ch 3.56 0.500”

Non-Individually Jacketed (NIJ)—9 to 16 Channels NIJ cables are thinner because the channels inside are not individually jacketed. This allows high channel count Custom PedalSnakes to be smaller in diameter, and thus more flexible. NIJ cable is less expensive per channel, but the total cost of your Custom PedalSnake is usually higher with NIJ because a protective gray shrink tubing is added over each line at the exposed fanout—producing a higher line cost. With NIJ cable, it is recommended that you always use at least on buffered pedal (non-true bypass) between your ax pickup and a PedalSnake GLine. If an NIJ GLine connects directly to your ax pickup, tone loss and microphonics may result. See True Bypass Truths. 9-channel, 12-channel, and 16-channel NIJ cables are available. CAUTION: Two Rock Amplifiers have an extremely high impedance FX Send (50KOhm), preventing use with NIJ cable, and lose a bit of with IJ cable. This is the only amp we know of that does this, and we can not find any tube device with an output impedance anywhere near as high. NIJ Cable Cost/Foot Diameter 9-ch 2.21 0.415” 12-ch 2.99 0.435” 16-ch 3.69 0.500” NOTES: All Line-types use 1 channel except MIDI5 (uses 2) and MIDI7 (uses 3). Channels and Line Costs The number of PedalSnake Channels Used varies per line type. The Line Costs vary between IJ and NIJ cable. Order Extra MIDI3 Lines with your Custom PedalSnakeCS. Why?

Versatility MIDI3 Lines are wired with the patented PedalSnake “quiet for audio” method, so PedalSnakeG2 Pigtails can plug into any PedalSnake MIDI3 Line (G2 or CS) to make GLines or PLines ((DO NOT try this with a typical “MIDI Snake”). Use G2 Pigtails to reconfigure or expand any PedalSnake with MIDI3 Lines. Save Cost Dual G2 Pigtails can be used with MIDI3 Lines to save cost on your Custom PedalSnakeCS. A Dual G2 Pigtail will yield two (2) GLines or PLines from one PedalSnake cable channel, keeping your line count and channel count lower. You may use Dual GLines for:: AmpInput AND Wireless Output FX Send AND Return (2) Mono Footswitch lines You may use Dual PLines for: Supplying two voltages to a pedal chain (like 9VDC and 18VDC) See Avoiding Hum in the Using PedalSnake Guide.
