COURSE OBJECTIVES 1. Develop an understanding of fundamental concepts of Risk Assessment. Focus on human health risk assessment Minor coverage of environmental risk assessment 2. Relate these principles to environmental and health situations. Contaminant transport considerations Exposure pathways Disease manifestation 3. Learn the basic steps in performing a risk assessment including statistical characterization of observed date.
