Doug Verboon is a Kings County Board of Supervisor for District 3. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board.
He is a lifelong resident of Hanford, California, a 1981 graduate of Hanford High School and a 3rd generation farmer of Gold Top Ranch located in Hanford, California.
He began his farming career alongside his grandfather, William, and his father, Bill. In 2005, he began a career in commercial property management when he purchased the Cinnamon Square Shopping Center in Lemoore, California.
He was a trustee of Pioneer School District for 16 years, and was instrumental in helping Pioneer become the first charter school district in the State of California.
He is a member of Kings County Farm Bureau, District Advisory Council for Sequoia Walnut and Future Leaders Board for Diamond Walnuts.
His hobbies include golfing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and restoring and painting classic cars.
He is married to Jill and they have four adult children: Cassandra, Courtney, Arie and Chelsea.
