1. Welcome and apologies  The Chair opened and welcomed attendees  Apologies were read.  The minutes of the last meeting were approved.

2. AOB  Lisa to send out reminders to confirm the Away day attendance  Becky thanked all that attended the open day of the Ore Valley Greenway route. Attendance was high and the walk could be a regular occurrence.

3. Training for RLP members, LTO and Pantomime  Jan said that the RLP training fund still had money unspent. Martin Styring had started to study for a Certificate in Fundraising, which will cost £1,733. As these skills will be useful to the Partnership it was proposed that Big local fund Martin’s studies, less any monies he might receive from other applications. This was then put to the vote and unanimously agreed.. A grant offer letter will be written with the condition Martin will share his expertise on fundraising for 2 years to the Big Local area on completion of the course.  A training day on setting up a Community Hub is in April.Anybody that is interested in attending the training should contact Jan for information.  The possibility of changing the LTO (Locally Trusted organisation) has been raised several times as it has been recognised that Orbit is not in a position to provide the level of support that Big Local requires. Jim explained some of the alternative options that may be available. The partnership agreed that the Chair can pursue discussions with potential new LTOs and that the matter can be discussed at the away day.

4. The Big Local pantomime, Cindorella, was a huge success with all performances sold out. Pat congratulated and thanked everyone involved in making it a success, particularly RLP members Gary and Mags. The hard work and commitment of the director, Leon Hillier, was identified as a key factor in the panto’s success and it was proposed that the partnership should gift Leon £1000 in recognition of his contribution. The partnership voted unanimously in favour.

Overall valuable responses came out of the consultation.  Pranesh said there are plans for the Big Local area. He will ensure this information is available for the away day.

6. Annual review – Jim Boot  An annual review presentation was given by Jim. Questions were asked on outcomes and achievements from the previous year.  An interactive session was held and discussions on what the RLP would change, what was learnt and achievements from projects BL had funded.
