iPhone & iPad Email Setup

1. Go to the phones dashboard by hitting the square home button.

2. Select “Settings”. 3. Select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” from the Settings window. 4. Select “Add Account…” 5. Select “Microsoft Exchange” 6. Enter in your information as follows:

 Email: Full E-Mail Address

 Domain: Leave blank

 Username: Full E-Mail Address

 Password: Your Password

 Description: E-Mail Description

7. Hit “Next” once done. 8. It should now ask for a server. You’ll need to enter:

 Server: west.exch029.serverdata.net

9. Hit “Next” once done. 10. Select what you want to sync from your Exchange Account. This is everything from Outlook on this specific e-mail account. If you don’t want to sync contacts, skip to step 13. Otherwise, select the “OFF” next to contacts and continue. 11. It is asking whether or not you want to delete your existing phone contacts. In most cases, you will want to hit “Keep on My iPhone”. 12. This next Window is asking whether or not you’re sure that you want to keep or delete your existing local contacts on your iPhone. Go ahead and confirm. 13. Hit the “Save” button in the top right to continue. 14. Here you have two optional choices:

1) Make changes to email sync days, folders to push or syncing Mail, Contacts or Calendars. If you want to edit this, continue on to 16.

2) Scroll down and edit your signature for when you send email from your iPhone or iPad. If you want to edit this, continue on to 17.

15. If you’re not selecting either, continue on to 18. 16. In this window you can set your Mail Days to Sync or Mail Folders to Push. Below are some details on each:

 Mail Days to Sync: This is how far back you want your mail to actively Sync. If you want to find earlier mail, then you will need to increase this. If you set it to all mail, then ensure you have plenty of internal storage space to hold it.

 Mail Folders to Push: This is for selecting email that will automatically come into the phone without having to open Mail and selecting the specific folder. You don’t want to select anything outside of Inbox a majority of the time.

Hit “Mail…” in the top right to go back. 17. After having scrolled down in “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”, you should come across Signature. Select it and edit your signature to how you want it. 18. Hit the square Home button on your phone to go back to the dashboard.

19. Select “Mail” to read your E-Mail. 20. Here you can read your email, select any other email accounts, compose email and more. A brief overview of the buttons:

1) Mailboxes: You can select this to choose a different folder or select a different e-mail account if your iPhone/iPad houses multiple email accounts.

2) Refresh: Checks the Exchange server for any new email.

3) Compose E-Mail: Compose a new e-mail to send. 21. Hit the square Home button on your phone to go back to the dashboard.

22. Select “Calendar” to view your Calendar. 23. Here you’ll see all of your events and meetings that you’ve scheduled on your Exchange account. A description of a few of the buttons are:

1) Calendars: You can choose what calendars you are currently seeing. They can be disabled/re-enabled on the fly.

2) Add a New Event: Adds a new Calendar event that will sync up with your Exchange account in Outlook/OWA. If you have multiple E-Mail accounts, select the correct calendar you want the event on.

3) Meeting Invitations: You can check any incoming meeting invitations here and accept/decline them.
