Dear parents,

Welcome back! We are now in the final stretch of the school year (9 weeks left). In weeks to come, our school will be focused on our Fun Run. Students took home a packet, today. Please read the packet and consider having your child ask for pledges for their laps. Every child will participate in walking or running laps. It would be great if we can get each child to have at least one pledge. PTC is hoping to earn money to put shade structures up for our children out on the playground and amphitheater. This will benefit our students, greatly, as there is currently very little shade.

I have received the students’ shirts for the Fun Run. I am keeping the shirts until next week. Since we will be on the Field Trip on the same day, I am planning on handing the shirts out when we return from our Field Trip.

Field Trip: Please have Field Trip slips turned in by Friday. I will need to send in lunch orders. Note: it is helpful if most students bring their lunch on Field Trip day. If you are planning on ordering a lunch, please have those in as soon as possible, because the lunch server needs notice on the lunch count. She will not take late orders.
