Every student will choose a different state…ONLY one person per state. Google your state (ex. Texas facts)

 Very first thing--Choose a transition, take it off of On Mouse Click and add 30 seconds—apply to all slides  Type the name of your State in the Title Placeholder, press enter and type the State Nickname underneath in the same placeholder  Type By [your name] in the Subtitle Placeholder  Add a picture of the state Slide 2  In the title placeholder, type the name of the Capital City (ex. Austin, Texas)  Tell a little about the city becoming the capital and when it happened  Include an appropriate picture/clipart Slide 3  In the title placeholder, type Population and Area of the State  Population  Area of the State  Include an appropriate picture/clipart

 In the title placeholder, type Statehood  Date of Union Entry and which state it was (the 1st, 20th, etc.)  State Song and State Flag  Add an appropriate picture/clipart Slide 5  In the title placeholder, type State Bird and Fish  Be sure to tell us the name of the State bird  Use an outdoor picture for the background (add pic & stretch it across the slide to cover the entire slide)  Find an animated clipart bird from heathersanimations.com (hopefully similar to pictures of that type of bird) and animate it to fly across the slide Slide 6  State Tree and Flower  Add an appropriate picture/clipart Slide 7  In the title placeholder, type State Motto  Explain, briefly, how the state got that motto  Add an appropriate picture/clipart Slide 8  Major Industries in the State  List 3 major industries  Include appropriate picture/clipart Slide 9  Highest Point (highest mountain) and Largest City  Include appropriate picture/clipart Slide 10  Name 3 State Attractions and the city where located  Include appropriate pictures/clipart Slide 11  Name 3 Interesting Facts about your state and add an appropriate picture
