Setup & Cleanup 7:00 am Gather all equipment (flags, footballs, penalty flags, ball spotter), set up cones Touch base with IM refs and team captains (Fields will be lined by Thursday) 2:00 pm Submit final standings to Eric Weber or Shawna Mehta Return all equipment to designated area by tents
Equipment Needs 2 sets of triple threat flags 4 footballs 14 cones 3 IM refs with whistles and stopwatch 2 penalty flags, 1 ball spotter
Rules 7 players, at least 2 women on field at all times 2 x 20 minute halves with 5 minute half-time Clock stops at 2 minutes remaining in each half Under 2 minutes in half, clock stops for out-of -bounds, completions, and resetting of down markers after first down First downs gained by crossing the next line on the field (every 20 yards, 10 yard endzones) Each team gets 2 x 2-minute timeouts per half Touchdowns are worth 6 points Extra points are run from the 3 yard line and are worth 1 point Kick-offs are from the 20 yard-line Punts advance the ball 2 lines Referee has power to eject players for any unsportsmanlike conduct Advancing The three winning teams and the Wild Card (*team that loses by the least, then total points scored by team, then coin flip) will advance to the semifinal games. Semifinal #1 will be between the winner of Game #1 and Game #2. Semifinal #2 will be between the winner of game 3 and the Wild Card team. The Finals will be between the winners of the Semifinal games. Win-loss record and then overall point differential will determine overall placement.
