2006 Variety Show Script Lewis Ames Elementary School Stage Hand Directions

Act Number Who: What To Say: Announcer: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and Jacob girls to our 3rd Lewis Ames Fine Arts and Variety show! What you will see here tonight is only a tiny bit of the talent that we have here at Lewis Ames Elementary School. Did you know that forty-seven acts tried out for the Variety Show? Opening: Ireland Before we get started, we need to thank fifth graders Jeremy LaPlante, Mariah Osenga, and Emily Smith for writing the script that we are sharing with you tonight. One: Zach Shelby For our opening act, kick up your chins for Jordan, L. Shelby Jordan, and Lexi Mercier for their Mercier homemade movie! Two: Ireland Emiko Next up we have a piano performance, so put Hardman your hands together for Emiko Hardman and her charming piece “Snake Charmer”. Three: Zach Jessica Before we continue, we need to thank our Berning, G. backstage crew. Without them, this evening Wynn, A. Fisher, H. would not be possible. Come on out and take Lloyd a bow everybody! Here are some talented young singers so open your ears and give it up for Jessica Berning, G. Wynn, A. Fisher, and H. Lloyd. Four: Ireland Morgan Uncle Garett, are you out there? If you are, Miller you inspired our next performer to take up the guitar. Here is Morgan Miller! Five: Ireland Sarah And now a singer who performed at a Perez wedding when she was five years old. Welcome Sarah Perez!

Six: Zach Emily This specific group asked us to thank their two Smith, J. music teachers Mr. Wolf and Mrs. Davis for Key, M. Osenga, M. teaching them to play their instruments. Come Cornejo on out Emily Smith, Mariah Osenga, Monick Cornejo, and their conductor Jessica Key. Seven: Ireland Nicole Miller, M. Mayo, L. Osenga Eight: Zach Anisha Choi Nine: Ireland Mallory Now, don't tangle up your feet, but put them Kostroski, together for two 3rd graders performing their H. Miller act inspired by the Highland Hoppers Jump Rope For Heart assembly earlier this year. Ok, Mallory Kostroski, and Hailey Miller it's your turn, so come on out jumping with excitement! Ten: Zach Emily Next, let's welcome Emily Acker, Samantha Acker, S. Warner, Becca Haysley, and Hannah LaBarrie Warner, B. Haysley, H. to the stage to sing and dance for us. LaBarrie Eleven: Ireland Cameron Wow, those are some talented kids! So… next Clarke we will have an instrumentalist that is the only instrumentalist in his family. Take it away Cameron Clarke! Twelve: Ireland Albert Now, whether he's rapping or playing an Jaurez instrument, he's a guy you'll want to know. Albert Jaurez is performing Elvis Presley's Hound Dog. Thirteen: Zach Calob Well, now don't sweat in applause but in Gavin amazement . Next we have Calob Gavin, an amazing Tae Kwon Do kindergartener, trying to earn a 1st degree black belt later this year. Calob, show us how hard you have been working! Fourteen: Zach Scarlett There are tons of people who can sing along Dobrovolsky to a song on a CD player or on the radio. There aren't as many that can sing without the instruments. There are even less who can write their own song. For the first time in Lewis Ames history, a third grader will share her songwriting talent with you. Welcome Scarlett Dobrovolsky! Fifteen: Ireland Melissa Inspired by the movie High School Musical, Findley, S. two fifth graders, Melissa Findley and Williams Shannon Williams, will perform their own dance to "We're All In This Together." Sixteen: Zach Bryce Next up is a performer who, in his own words, Breeden was forced to take music lessons beginning in first grade. All of that dedication and persistence has definitely paid off. Bryce Breeden is super-talented and will prove it to everyone tonight. Watch and listen carefully. Seventeen: Keegan Our final act tonight is a carefully crafted, Ireland Clause, H. choreographed concoction of verbal Clarke cacophony (in other words a rap)! Give it up for Keegan Clause, and H. Clarke! Closing
