SAFETY RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES

These safety rules have been prepared to protect you in your daily work. Employees are to follow these rules, review them often and use good common sense in carrying out assigned duties.

TO ALL PERSONNEL:

JOB-SPECIFIC RULES: Industry Specific Machinery/Equipment Safety Rules Hot Stamp, Gutta Percha Point Rolling, Automatic Packaging, Vial Labeling, Kneading Plant, Extruding, Vacuum Forming, Recycling Grinder and Injection Molding Machinery. 1. Only trained and authorized personnel are allowed to operate or repair dental equipment and supply machinery. 2. Replace the guards before starting the machines, after making adjustments and after making repairs to a machine. 3. Do not remove, alter or bypass any safety guard or device when operating any piece of equipment or machinery. 4. Read and obey safety warnings posted on or near any machinery. 5. Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry or neckties when operating machinery. 6. Do not try to stop a work piece as it goes through any machine. If the machine becomes jammed, disconnect the power before clearing the jam. 7. Report any missing machine or tool guard immediately to your supervisor. 8. Do not operate the injection molding machine if it is equipped with a safety drop bar, and the drop bar is missing.
