A1 Beat:

 No significant events occurred during this reporting period.

A2 Beat:

 A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville on Saturday, 3/30 at 11:45 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 17 yrs. old; Suspect: W/M, 16 yrs. old, 5’11”, 160 lbs; Suspect: B/M, 14 yrs. old.

 A theft from a vehicle occurred at the Best Western, 1251 W. Montgomery Avenue, Rockville between 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, 3/30 and 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, 3/31. Forced entry; property taken.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF POLICE 2nd District: 3/25/2013 to 4/2/2013

D1 Beat:

 Two thefts from vehicles occurred in this Silver Spring beat during the overnight hours between Friday, 3/29 and Saturday, 3/30. The events occurred in the 1900 block of Rosemary Hills Drive and the 1800 block of East West Highway. Forced entry in both instances; a cell phone was taken from the first; nothing was reported missing from the second.

D2 Beat:

 A robbery occurred in the 4900 block of Hampden Lane, Bethesda on Saturday, 3/30 at approximately 10:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspects: 3 W/Ms wearing dark clothing.

 A commercial burglary occurred at the Nissan Dealership, 7701 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda on Friday, 3/29 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

 An assault/attempted robbery occurred in the 7000 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Bethesda on Saturday 3/30 at approximately 4:30 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and unsuccessfully attempted to remove property.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 7000 block of Oak Forest Lane, Bethesda on Sunday, 3/31 at 1:15 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

E2 Beat:

 A commercial burglary occurred at The Benkhe Nursery, 9545 River Road, Rockville overnight from Monday, 3/25 to Tuesday, 3/26. Forced entry; property taken.

 Three residential burglaries occurred overnight from Saturday, 3/30 to Sunday, 3/31 in this Bethesda beat. Instances occurred in the 9100 block of Quintana Drive and the 9000 block of Groton Road. Two involved houses, one involved a detached office. No forced entry; property taken.

E3 Beat:

 A residential burglary occurred in the 11000 block of Rosemont Avenue, Rockville on Sunday, 3/31 at approximately 11:30 a.m. No forced entry; nothing taken.

Arrested: Male, age 14, from Rockville.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 10500 block of Westlake Drive, Bethesda on Wednesday, 3/27 between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

G1 Beat:

 A commercial burglary occurred at the National Association of Bilingual Education, 8701 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 3/26 at 5:00 p.m. Forced entry; unknown whether anything was taken.

Suspect: B/M, 30-35 years, 5’11”, 175lbs, blue cap, black jacket, blue jeans.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Fleetwood Street, Silver Spring between 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 3/26 and 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, 3/31. Unknown entry; property taken.

Suspect: B/M, 5’6”, 160lbs, dreadlocks.

G2 Beat:

 A sexual assault occurred in the 9800 block of Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring on Sunday, 3/31 between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

H1 Beat:

 A robbery occurred in front of the Long Branch Library, 8800 Garland Avenue, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 4/2 at 6:22 p.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.

Arrested: Male, age 19.

 A robbery occurred in the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace, Silver Spring on Monday, 4/1 at 10:49 p.m. The suspects threatened victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspects: (2) H/Ms, 4’8” to 5’2”, 120-130lbs, wearing dark hoodys and jeans.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 9000 block of Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring on Monday, 4/1 at 4:01 p.m. No further information is available at this time.

H2 Beat:

 A residential burglary occurred on Tuesday, 3/26 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of Oakview Drive, Silver Spring. Forced entry; property taken.

I1 Beat:

 A carjacking occurred in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive, White Oak on Saturday, 3/30 at 10:30 p.m. The suspects forcefully removed property from the victim and then took the victim’s vehicle.

Suspects: (2) H/M’s, 21-23 years, one suspect wore a white t-shirt and a black sweater; (1) H/F, 21 years, white t shirt, blue sweater and blue jeans.

 A commercial burglary occurred at a storage bin in the Self Storage Plus, 11105 New Hampshire Avenue, White Oak on Monday, 3/25 between 9:15 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

Suspect: B/M, 6” to 6’4”, wearing a gray jacket, black pants.

 A robbery occurred in the 13900 block of Robey Road, Silver Spring on Sunday, 3/31 at 10:40 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim and obtained property.

Arrested: Male, age 19, of no fixed address.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 14600 block of Almanac Drive, Burtonsville on Friday, 3/29 at 4:49 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.

 A residential burglary occurred between 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, 3/28 and 10:45 a.m. on Friday, 3/29 in the 13800 block of Castle Boulevard, Fairland. Unknown entry; nothing taken.

J1 Beat:

 A residential burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Parrs Ridge Road, Spencerville on Thursday, 3/28 between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Beaumont Road, Colesville between Sunday, 3/24 and Wednesday, 3/27. Unforced entry; property taken.

J2 Beat:

 An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 18700 block of Heritage Hills Drive, Brookeville on Wednesday, 3/27 between 2:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Unforced entry; nothing taken.

K1 Beat:

 An aggravated assault occurred in the 3800 block of International Drive, Rossmoor on Wednesday, 3/27 at 6:30 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon.

Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’3” - 5’5” with a medium build, short hair, wearing a dark long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

 An indecent exposure incident occurred along University Boulevard in the area of Four Corners, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 3/27 between 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim.

Arrested: Male, 39, from Silver Spring.

M1 Beat:

 A residential burglary was reported in the 11100 block of Knight Court in Germantown on Friday, 3/29 around 5:15 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Twinflower Circle in Germantown on Monday, 3/25 around 1:30 p.m. No further info is available at this time.

 A theft from vehicle occurred in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown on Monday, 4/1 around 7:30 a.m. The victim was exiting her vehicle when the suspect opened an unlocked door, took her purse and fled.

Suspect: B/M, 5’5, 18 to 20, black hooded sweatshirt and puffy coat

 A strong-arm robbery was reported near Cross Ridge Road and Cross Ridge Court in Germantown on Saturday, 3/30 around 3:45 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 18700 block of Summer Oak Court in Germantown between 11:15 p.m. on Monday, 3/25 and 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, 3/28. Forced entry; property taken.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 20100 block of Laurel Hill Way in Germantown on Monday, 4/1 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:37 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
