2. Write an essay discussing the way revenge has affected people in the play. PREWRITING. Tybalt wanted revenge because Romeo came to the party; Romeo wanted revenge because Tybalt killed Mecutio; Lady Capulet wanted revenge because Romeo killed Tybalt. Besides the obvious choices, others were affected by these acts. a. Choose one of the examples of revenge above. b. Write the reasons the person desires revenge. c. List the steps the person took/tried to take to get revenge d. Jot down the all of the people who were affected by the revenge and how they were hurt.

DRAFTING Write one paragraph explaining why the character you chose desires revenge on the other person. Explain how revenge was achieved in the next paragraph. Finally explain how different characters were affected and influenced by the act of revenge. Make a clear conclusion.
