Last year we had over ¾ of participants line up for confessions and only ½ were able to receive the sacrament because we ran out of time! I realize that Saturday afternoons are very busy for clergy, but if you are available to join us please let me know. Confessions would be available from 2:45-4:00 pm.

FORMING INTENTIONAL DISCIPLES WORKSHOP (SAT. NOV 28, 2015)  The Youth Office, along with the Deaconate Program and St. Mary’s Cathedral will be hosting this one-day workshop on Forming Intentional Disciples. A day focused on our personal relationship with Jesus and evangelizing to others based on Sherry Weddell’s book “Forming Intentional Disciples”. Deacon Mark Cesnik from the St. Catherine of Siena Institute that Weddell founded will be facilitating this awesome day! $30 registration fee, includes lunch. To register contact Nadia by phone or email. An awesome day for parents, parish volunteers, and especially those in youth ministry! Being held at McKinley Hall in Providence Spirituality Centre. 9 am – 4pm. Contact the youth office for your copies today! Makes a great gift! We sold out of the first 400 books we printed so we have gotten an additional 200 books printed! If your parish would be willing to have some WYD pilgrims sell the cookbooks after your masses one weekend please contact me to arrange.  The World Youth Day Theme Song in English has been released. Judy McDonald, Catholic Comedian will be giving a humorous keynote on Sat. Oct 17th for adults at Holy Cross Secondary School - 7 pm.
