North Harris College – Parkway Center - Houston, Texas December 2001 – August 2006 Instructional Coordinator, Adult Education & Director of Business Operations & Student Services Designed and facilitated training for 12 instructors and 2 instructional aides Presented strategies for enrollment increases, student retention, and student activities to enhance curriculum demands as stated by the grant and the State of Texas Goal is to have 50% students pass the GED exam (we had 80% pass the high school equivalency ) Offered new classes at 12 new sites ( up 15% in May 2006) Raised $2500 for student programs to increase student participation and attendance

From local high schools due to truancy, & discipline Increased teacher retention from 70% to 85% year to year Increased teachers to pursue master’s and additional certifications by 10%
