Cypress-Fairbanks ISD – Cy-Woods High School- Cypress, Texas August 2006 – July 2009 Mathematics Teacher  Teach Algebra II, Algebra I, Math Model Applications, TAKS prep and SAT prep  Goal was to have 90% students pass the State of Texas Graduation exam (100% passed in my classes and 94% passed in the school of 3435 students)  Raised $800.00 for math student instructional tools  Special education student goal is to have 50% pass the state exam by April 2009

North Harris College – Parkway Center - Houston, Texas December 2001 – August 2006 Instructional Coordinator, Adult Education & Director of Business Operations & Student Services  Designed and facilitated training for 12 instructors and 2 instructional aides  Presented strategies for enrollment increases, student retention, and student activities to enhance curriculum demands as stated by the grant and the State of Texas  Goal is to have 50% students pass the GED exam (we had 80% pass the high school equivalency )  Offered new classes at 12 new sites ( up 15% in May 2006)  Raised $2500 for student programs to increase student participation and attendance

Houston Can! Academy Houston, Texas October 1998 – November 2001 Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction (alternative high school)  Implemented graduation check off lists to confirm TEKS/TAKS objectives completed for High schools students  Increased student graduation numbers by 45%  Students entered Houston Can! From local high schools due to truancy, & discipline  Increased teacher retention from 70% to 85% year to year  Increased teachers to pursue master’s and additional certifications by 10%
