**NEW CLASSES**

Hip Hop w/ Jeff - This class encompasses movements that have elements of breaking and free style, as well as locking and other movements to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style!

Intro to Lyrical w/ Robyne – this class combines ballet and jazz movements. It is danced to contemporary music and focuses on expression of the body through music. There is no experience required!

Parent Night Out

Premiere invites you to enjoy a NIGHT TO YOURSELF! Our Competition Team dancers, teachers, and parents will provide your children with dance classes & dinner, movie & popcorn, arts & crafts, and more! The FUN happens on Saturday, April 25th from 6-10PM!!! Registration forms are attached to this e-mail. If you cannot open it, it is also available at the front desk!

Tap & Contemporary WORKSHOP w/ Nick Bowman & Ricky Palomino - Prices to be announced

Ricky Palomino – At the age of 7 Ricky got involved in the arts where he studied musical instrumentation, music composition, and later modern dance, ballet, and choreography. He has gone on to perform in many different arenas of the entertainment world. Some of Ricky’s credits include seasons and guest appearances with Opendance Company, Fusion Dance Company, Yuma City Ballet, New Wave Dance Group, and H.T. Chen and dancers. Most recently, he appeared on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance, where he was a part of the top 20 dancers.

Nick Bowman – This amazing tap dancer has established himself as one of the nation’s hottest new talents. He has received rave reviews all over the world for his classes and his performances as well. Some of Nick’s credits include performing on the USA tour of Caution: Men at Work Tap, Steppitapahtuma in Helsinki, Finland, the Hot Shoe Show in Vienna, Austria, Legends of Tap, and he also performed on the Rosie O’Donnell Show and many more.

Dress rehearsal will be at Meydenbauer Center. Watch for your dancers’ rehearsal time which will be posted on the recital wall by the Front Desk.

SUMMER DANCE CAMPS

DON’T MISS OUT ON THE FUN!!

Premiere Dance Center is offering 3-5 day dance camps. Choose one or choose all! Camps are open to everyone ages 3 through 8. Camps include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tumbling, and tap—Plus! Storytelling, games and dance related arts and crafts. It’s a blast!!

1. Barbie Diamond Castle – Ages 3-5 June 22nd through June 26th 2. High School Musical – Ages 6-8 July 6th through July 10th 3.The Secret Garden- Ages 3-5 August 3rd though August 7th

Time: 10 am to 1pm Cost: $227 includes registration fee

We will supply a healthy snack and juice. The showcase performance and celebration will be on Friday during the last hour of camp.

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE

August 10th through August 14th Ages 7 and up – 3 Levels (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced) Time: Monday – Friday from 10am to 5pm Cost: $423 includes registration fee

The curriculum for the summer dance intensive program consists of a strong emphasis on technique for classes in classical ballet, tap, jazz, pas de deux, contemporary and hip-hop. An enrichment program comprised of classes in nutrition, stage make-up, acting for dancers, dance history, improvisation, anatomy, lighting design, stage tech, kinesiology, yoga, pilates and injury prevention.

Classes are taught by our highly trained professional faculty featuring guest artists and master teachers. This week long intensive is designed for those dancers looking to experience dance for the first time or further develop their technical skills. You’re invited to discover your true potential this summer in a unique, challenging, fun and supportive dance environment.

The showcase performance will occur on the last day of class. Family and friends are encouraged to join the audience in celebration.
