Pupil Premium Expenditure 2013 – 2014

The Pupil Premium funding was introduced by the Government in April 2011 in order to address the attainment gap between vulnerable pupils and their peers. The funding is paid directly to schools and allocated to pupils who are eligible for free school meals, children who are in care and children whose parents are in the Armed Forces.

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools with pupils in year R-Yr6 that are known to be eligible for FSM (free school meals) or who have been eligible for FSM in the past six years (Ever Six).

More information is available on the Department for Education website.
