 Pre-Tests allow the student to be exempt from modules they already have ‘mastery knowledge’ of. HOWEVER, students are still responsible for “Exempt” Modules for Post Tests. (They can still be accessed).

 The Mastery Tests are basically worksheets or practice. They do not count toward your official grade. You need to obtain 80% for mastery. You may take these as many times as is necessary. Once taken, Mastery Tests will Lock. To re-open, Students must go through the Tutorial again. *You may need to allow Pop-ups, (or set your Pop-up Blocker to allow the following ‘Exception’ … contentlaunch.ple.platoweb.com) If you need help with this contact your Teacher of Record or the Coordinator. The Post-Tests and Semester Tests will be used for a final grade. In addition to any supplemental Assignments as determined by your teacher of record.

 In order to be eligible/ready to take the Unit Post-Tests, you must have mastered or be exempt from all of the modules in that unit. (All Unit Post-Tests must be completed to take Semester Tests).

 There are numerous tools that can be accessed, (depending upon the class). There is reader support (with several options), calculators, note pads, etc…. Students are encouraged to explore those opportunities. In addition, access the “Online Orientation” document in this Link for additional Tools and resources

 Students may also use other educational techniques at their disposal (i.e. notebooks, organizational tools, etc..). It is highly encouraged that students to take notes on the Tutorials. These can be used on the Mastery Tests, (NOT Post Tests or Semester Tests). Students may also take notes as they take Mastery Tests. All of these Notes will be helpful in studying for Post & Semester Tests. These Notes are not required, nor will they be collected. These would be for student use.
