Job Title Linux Administrator CHX101 Primary Function This position reports to the Team Leader, Open Systems Support and is responsible for the UNIX and Linux Operating System environment and related hardware and software. Responsibilities include:  Installation, configuration, and maintenance of RedHat Linux and Sun Solaris  Perform the duties of Systems Administrator for the UNIX/Linux environment.  Monitors the performance of the UNIX and Linux systems,  Perform tuning as necessary to ensure optimum performance;  Provide guidance and assistance to the programming and technical staff relating to the UNIX and Linux environment.  Assist the Team Leader Open Systems Support to investigate new computing concepts;  Provide direction for future growth.  Support of Apache Tomcat and HTTPD

Minimum Education &  Bachelors preferred. Experience  5 years experience in imaging systems and hardware problem diagnosis.  Must have technical knowledge of both hardware and software
