Work Instruction Functional Area: Asset Accounting Run Global Query Report

Purpose

Use this procedure to create lists of data to check master data or transactional input.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when there is a need to check master data or transactional input.

Prerequisites

Menu Path

Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

 Select Tools ABAP Workbench Utilities SAP Query SQ01 - Queries to the Query from User Group /SAPQUERY/AB: Initial Screen.

Procedure

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.

3. As required, complete/review the following fields:

Field R/O/C Description

QuickView Required Name of QuickViewer Example: ZASSET

4. Click .

Create QuickView ZASSET: Choose Data Source

Title Required Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., or Title of Report Example: Find Asset Master Attributes

Data Source Required Data sources regulate the data flow from the extraction source structure in the source system to the communication structure in SAP, which then provides the data; Data source can provide both transactional data and master data Example: Table join

6. Click .

Create QuickView ZASSET: Choose Data Source (2)

7. Click .

Add table.

Table Required All reference data is stored in reference tables; They are usually accessible by the user when asking for possible values Example: ANLA

13. Review the displayed information.

15. Select next to the appropriate line in the List fields and Selection fields from each table in the query to choose the fields you want to display in the list.

Asset class Required Each asset is categorized in an asset class which determines their useful life and depreciation schedule Example: 49001

23. Click until you return to the SAP Easy Access screen.

24. You have completed this transaction.

Result

You have created a query to list data to check master data or transactional input.
