Welcome to 2nd Grade Daily 5 Park Side Elementary School Once again this year we will be using the 1400 E. Homework Your child will have homework in second grade. Spelling homework will come home on Monday. The assignment is to write the spelling words three times each and is to be returned to school by Wednesday. If this is not returned by Wednesday your child will stay in during recess to complete the assignment. This will then be counted as a missing assignment. Reading homework will some home on most Tuesdays. Math homework will come home on most Thursdays. These assignments should be returned to school as soon as possible. We try to print all homework on yellow paper. Homework assignments are reflected on your child’s homework grade. If you have questions about an assignment contact your child’s teacher.

How can I help my child at home? 1. Ask your child daily about their day. Ask them what they learned and who they played with. 2.
