Adults Need Vaccines Too!

Your retiree group is partnering with OKHealth’s State Employee Immunization Program and Passport Health Oklahoma* to provide immunization clinics in 6 locations across Oklahoma during the months of July and August of 2015.

Immunizations are a great way to improve the quality of health by preventing painful and sometimes life threatening conditions like shingles, pneumonia, and pertussis.

Immunizations Offered: - Shingles - Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) - Pneumovax 23 (pneumonia vaccine) - Hepatitis A - Prevnar 13 (new pneumonia vaccine) - Hepatitis B

*Passport Health Oklahoma is a physician owned clinic whose aim is to improve public health through vaccination programs. How Do I Sign Up? Call Passport Health Oklahoma* to schedule an appointment at least 48 hours before the clinic you would like to attend. It is important to sign up in advance to ensure sufficient vaccines will be available. Your immunization appointment will last approximately 10-15 minutes.

Is There A Cost?

Depending on your specific insurance plan, there may be a cost for certain immunizations. If you are 65 and have Medicare, the cost of some vaccines can vary greatly based on your Part D coverage. When you call to schedule an appointment, a patient service representative will gladly verify your insurance coverage details and will alert you of any expected out-of-pocket costs for the immunizations you would like to receive.
