1.0 Course Title: Adobe Acrobat 2.0 Catalog Number: OF160U 3.0 Semester Credit Hours: 2 3.1 Lecture Hours: 1 3.2 Lab Hours: 1 4.0 Course Description: Learn to publish any document in Portable Document Format (PDF) by using Adobe Acrobat software. Add interactive elements such as hyperlinks and sound clips or use comments to help review documents. Create slide shows and presentations with Acrobat. Create an interactive form. Use Acrobat as an eBook reader. Learn how to place security locks on sensitive files. 5.0 Prerequisites Working knowledge of the computer and operating system 6.0 General Course Competencies 1. Work with Acrobat tools and navigation pane. 2. Boost the efficiency of Microsoft Office programs. 3. Archive and index correspondence for searching, organizing and printing 4. Create accessible documents that meet federal guidelines. 5. Work with forms 6. Work with technical drawings 7.
