Senior IT Support Officer 36.50 hours per week £19,238 - £24,717 per annum

Aston Manor Academy (Secondary) is part of a Multi-Academy Trust that also sponsors a local Primary Academy. Both Academies are happy, exciting and inspiring learning environments for their children who are from a vibrant mix of cultures. The staff and Trustees have a great sense of pride in their Academies and care passionately about their students.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior IT Support Officer to join our small Support Team which supports 1,000+ users across 2 sites. Duties will include installing, configuring, managing and maintaining both Windows and Apple Servers, PCs, tablets and laptops as well as proactively monitoring and responding to ICT helpdesk tickets and providing ICT support to all staff, students and visitors to the school.

The ideal candidate will have experience of providing technical support in Schools or Academies and have sound knowledge of systems including Group Policy, Office 365, Hyper-V, WSUS Server and Apple Configurator as well as experience with disk imaging systems such as Windows Deployment Services, Web Filtering & Internet Security software, e.g. Smoothwall & MS Data Protection Manager.
